For all of those who love to try something crispy and hot during a rainy day! this cannot get any better.

  5. Refined oil            - to deep fry
  6. Bread slices          - 1
  7. Salt to taste
Method -

  • Take the onions and peel off the skin. Now, after slicing off its head and tail, cut the onion vertically to get rings.
  • In a bowl mix in all the dry powders with salt and make it into a paste like consistency by adding little water.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil in a shallow bottomed pan.
  • Grind the bread slice in blender to get it powdered and keep it aside.
  • Now, take the onion ring and dip it in the batter.
  • Afterwards coat it in the bread thoroughly.
  • Fry all the rings until crispy golden.
  • Serve hot.
Note - if you dont have gram flour, you can easily substitute it with plain flour. Also, if powdered bread is not available, one can try powdering rusk or unsalted crackers.
